All services are subject to site conditions, scope confirmation, and availability.

2. Quotes & Scope of Work

All quotes provided by HRT are based on the information available at the time, including:

  • Measurements supplied by the client or taken onsite

  • Material selections

  • Site access and preparation

  • Labour and installation requirements

Final pricing may vary if the scope changes, unforeseen site conditions arise, or additional works are requested.

Any variation will be discussed and approved prior to continuation.

3. Booking Process

Clients may book an appointment or request a quote through our website:

HanlonRealTrade.com.au

Booking a quote reserves a time in our schedule. Once booked:

  • We will attend the site or consult as agreed

  • The client’s requirements will be discussed

  • A formal scope and pricing will be confirmed before works proceed

4. Pricing & Payment

Floating Floors

Floating floor installations are generally priced at a fixed rate (where advertised), which may include:

  • Supply of flooring materials

  • Installation labour

  • Standard trims and finishing (where specified)

Quoted Services

Deck refurbishments, carpet works, and maintenance services are quoted individually based on job complexity.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Deposits may be required to secure materials

  • Final payment is due upon completion of works

  • Payments must be made via approved methods

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand plans change. To keep things fair:

  • Clients may reschedule with at least 48 hours notice

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a reasonable call-out or booking fee

  • Missed appointments without notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid

HRT may also reschedule due to weather, supplier delays, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Site Access & Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the property

  • Clear working areas where possible

  • Disclosure of known hazards (asbestos, wiring, plumbing, pests, etc.)

Delays caused by restricted access or unsafe conditions may affect scheduling and cost.

7. Materials & Product Availability

All supplied materials are subject to:

  • Manufacturer availability

  • Colour batch variation

  • Delivery timeframes outside our control

We aim to match selections closely, however minor variation may occur.

8. Floating Floor Installations Over the QBCC Threshold

Hanlon Real Trade may provide floating floor supply and installation services where the total project value exceeds the Queensland regulated threshold.

Clients acknowledge that floating flooring installations are generally considered non-structural finishing work, and may be undertaken where permitted under applicable Queensland regulations.

Where the value of works exceeds the threshold, HRT will ensure that the service is structured and delivered in a compliant manner, which may include:

  • separating supply and installation components where appropriate

  • confirming the scope remains non-structural in nature

  • ensuring the works do not fall within categories requiring QBCC licensing

If a project is determined to require a licensed contractor, HRT will advise the client prior to commencement and may recommend an appropriately licensed pathway.

9. Licensing Transparency

Hanlon Real Trade is not currently a QBCC licensed builder.

We provide services that are lawful to perform within our scope as a trade and finishing service provider, and we communicate clearly with clients where licensing thresholds may apply.

10. Workmanship & Quality

HRT takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship aligned with our brand standard of Rugged Elegance.

We will rectify reasonable workmanship concerns if reported within an appropriate timeframe after completion.

This does not cover:

  • General wear and tear

  • Client-caused damage

  • Movement or settling of existing structures

  • Manufacturer product faults outside our control

11. Liability & Limitations

While all care is taken, HRT is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing structural issues

  • Hidden defects beneath floors or decks

  • Delays caused by suppliers, weather, or third parties

  • Indirect or consequential losses

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

12. Photos & Marketing

HRT may take before-and-after photos of completed works for portfolio and marketing purposes.

No identifying personal information will be shared without client consent.

Clients may request in writing that their project not be used publicly.

13. Privacy

All client information is handled respectfully and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Amendments

HRT may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always apply to current bookings.
